Caesar cipher playground

cryptosvelteinteractive

Repository →

A Caesar cipher rotates each letter by a fixed number of positions. It is trivially broken by brute force, which is exactly what makes it a good toy for showing the mechanics.

The widget below is a Svelte 5 component hydrated with client:visible — it ships no JavaScript to the page until it scrolls into view, and runs entirely in your browser.

Output Dwwdfn dw gdzq.

Why it’s here

This is a template for the “interactive demo” pattern on this site: content stays in MDX, and anything stateful is a small framework component mounted as an island. It keeps the rest of the page static and cheap.
